Breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack!
Preheat a large skillet to medium heat. Add the butter, and swirl until melted.
Place the 4 bun bottoms in the pan (cut side up). Divide half the cheese evenly among the buns.
Drain the tuna. Flake 1/2 can of tuna over each bun. Top the tuna evenly with the scallions, dill, and hot sauce, if you’d like.
Top the dill tuna with the remaining cheese. Press bun tops over cheese and let the melts slowly warm though.
Flip the sandwiches after 7 minutes and let the top layer of cheese melt.
When the sandwiches are totally melted and warmed through, cut in half and serve!
