A juicy burger with an Asian flare.
For the Hoisin Mayo: In a small bowl combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before using.
For the burgers: Put ground beef into a medium sized bowl. Pour teriyaki sauce onto ground beef. Mix by hand until just combined. Form into 4 patties. Season tops with salt and pepper.
Heat a skillet or grill to medium high heat. Grill patties to desired temperature. For medium rare this takes about 5 minutes per side.
Brush pineapple and onions lightly with olive oil. Grill for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. They should be softened with light grill marks. Lightly toast buns using your preferred method.
For assembly: Spread mayo on the bottom half of each bun. Top with burger, pineapple and onion. Top with small handful of mixed greens and add the top bun.
