A touch of sweet and peppery on the palate, this crock pot pork roast can be adapted to be made in the oven as well.
Delicious served with wild rice on the side, and drizzle some of the sauce on top!
To prepare the sauce, mix all the ingredients (except pork roast and cornstarch slurry) in a bowl.
Place roast in a crock pot and pour the sauce on top. Cook on high for 5 to 6 hours or on low for 7 to 8 hours.
Remove roast from crockpot when done; set on a heated platter. Prepare the cornstarch slurry by mixing 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 1/4 cup cold water, and whisk it into the sauce in the crockpot to thicken.
Add the roast back to the crockpot and let cook on high for about 15 minutes more.

Very good and simple. The boneless loin was too $$$ at the store, so I used a boneless blade roast- next time I will cut off most of the outer fat, it made the sauce a little greasy but should work perfectly with a leaner cut. We served it with yellow rice and Tabasco, tomorrow will make fried rice from the leftovers.
