Description

If summer was a sandwich, this is IT!

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Whole Wheat Bread
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter (soft)
  • 4 slices Real Mozzarella Cheese Ball
  • 1 whole Large Tomato, Sliced, We Like Big Beef From The Garden
  • 12 whole Basil Leaves
  • Kosher Salt

Preparation

Preheat your oven’s broiler. Spread out 8 pieces of bread on a baking sheet. Butter the top side of 4 of the 8 pieces of bread. Slice mozzarella cheese and lay the slices on the 4 non buttered pieces of bread. Put the tray into the oven and broil for 1-2 minutes, watching closely.

Pull the tray from the oven, add a thick slice of tomato, salt to taste, and a single layer of basil leaves to the top of the mozzarella topped slices of bread. Top with the other slices of bread (butter side down). Dig in!
