My Mom’s version of a classic. It is now a family favorite.
Cut bacon into small pieces and cook as desired. (I like crunchy.) Drain fat and set bacon aside.
Start cooking pasta.
Pour alfredo sauce into the same pan you cooked bacon in and slowly simmer. Add bacon into sauce.
Once pasta has cooked, pour into a serving bowl and top with spinach. Pour sauce over the spinach so that the heat from the pasta and the sauce gently cook it.
Serve! Sauteed mushrooms are great added into the sauce or served on the side if some people in your family don’t like them.
