Description

I had the chance to interview Chef Wolfgang Puck recently for work. This recipe for Baked Halibut was built from his suggestion for an easy, inexpensive and tasty meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces (6 Oz. Size) Halibut Steaks
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 6 Tablespoons Wolfgang Puck Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce, Plus 2 Teaspoons, Divided
  • 6  Green Olives, Rough Chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 2  Fresh Basil Leaves, Torn To Use As Garnish

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 400ºF.

Pat the fish dry with a paper towel and season both sides with the salt and pepper.

Add 2 teaspoons of pasta sauce to the bottom of a baking dish. Place the seasoned fish in the baking dish, on top of the sauce, and top each piece with 3 tablespoons of the pasta sauce.

Sprinkle the chopped olives over each piece of fish and drizzle the olive oil over the top of each.

Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish with the fresh basil and serve.
