I had the chance to interview Chef Wolfgang Puck recently for work. This recipe for Baked Halibut was built from his suggestion for an easy, inexpensive and tasty meal!
Preheat your oven to 400ºF.
Pat the fish dry with a paper towel and season both sides with the salt and pepper.
Add 2 teaspoons of pasta sauce to the bottom of a baking dish. Place the seasoned fish in the baking dish, on top of the sauce, and top each piece with 3 tablespoons of the pasta sauce.
Sprinkle the chopped olives over each piece of fish and drizzle the olive oil over the top of each.
Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish with the fresh basil and serve.
