A great way to use up leftover beef tenderloin, pot roast or steak. It’s piled onto a fresh bagel and smeared with creamy, zippy horseradish sauce.
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Over medium heat, hat half of the butter in a small saute pan. Heat until butter is melted and add beef. Saute until beef is heated through.
Spread the rest of the butter on the insides of the top and bottom of the bagel. Place both sides of the bagel on a cookie sheet, butter side up. Pile the beef evenly on one side of the bagel. Add cheese on top of the beef and broil until melted and starting to slightly bubble. (You may need to remove the bagel side without the beef earlier to prevent burning). Remove the bagel from the oven. Spread the inside of the bagel half without the beef with horseradish sauce. Add that bagel half on top of the other side. Enjoy.
