Description

These easy no bake cookies are full of fiber and flavor! The best part is, all of the ingredients are things you already have in your pantry!

This recipe is great to halve, just watch the cocoa!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 1 stick Butter
  • ½ cups Milk
  • ⅓ cups Cocoa
  • ⅔ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 3 cups Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla

Preparation

1. Place a piece of wax paper or foil on a cookie sheet or counter.

2. Combine sugar, butter, milk and cocoa in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a rolling boil.

3. Remove from heat and cool for 1 minute.

4. Add peanut butter, oats and vanilla. Stir to mix well.

5. Quickly drop mixture by heaping teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.

6. Cool completely and store in a cool dry place.

Lasts about 3 days!

Note: if you would like, you can add about 1/4 cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, etc.) for extra flavor and zest!
