Sweet Chinese (inspired because I am not Chinese!) spareribs. Delicious as a side or over white rice.
You will have to cut your rib tips into bite size pieces. In a large sauce pan, place your bite-sized pieces and cover with water and 1 tablespoon salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes until no longer pink. Drain water and keep ribs in the pan.
In a medium bowl, mix your brown sugar, 1 cup water, soy sauce, corn syrup and garlic. Whisk well and pour over your ribs. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Serve garnished with chopped green onions.
This is absolutely delicious. The recipe can easily be doubled, tripled. It is great as a side or if you have a buffet or cocktail party. Delish (thanks, Rachael Ray) and great even over plain white rice with a spoonful of juices. Oh my goodness, it is good.

I just made this recipe tonight for my family. I was dissapointed as to how the sauce turned out. I followed the instructions and it was not the sweet sticky glaze as I exspected. Could you please tell me where I went wrong ? I would love to make this again sometime, hopefully I have better luck with the sauce. The flavor is wonderful and was very moist.
