A very easy weeknight dinner. A great alternative option to your usual taco night!
Cook beef in a skillet until well browned. Drain off any excess fat. Stir in the soup, salsa, hot sauce, cumin, water and tortillas that have been cut into 1-inch strips. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5–10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Top with cheese and cover until cheese melts.

i made this tonight. it was so easy and a nice change from normal tacos. I served it over tortilla chips and the crunch was a nice addition. Thanks for posting it!

p.s. would also be awesome on a baked potato minus the tortillas, plus a dollop of sour cream! maybe I’ll serve it that way next……..too quick, easy and delicious not to keep it in the rotation!

Made this tonight!! Very good!!! I used turkey in place of hamburger and added a can of ranch style beans. Also increased the cumin, since turkey needs a little extra help with seasoning. Thank you for sharing!!! I think next time I’ll serve it over penne pasta instead of using the tortillas…. will be like a chili mac! Thanks again… loved it!
