I love to whip this up on hot days. It is a meal all by itself. I like to serve it warm or cold the next day.
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well when done.
Cook frozen vegetables and drain well.
While pasta and vegetables are cooking, cut your smoked sausage into quarter-inch pieces. Then, in a large bowl, add pasta, vegetables, sausage, pepperoni, and black olives.
Add dressing and toss together. The amount of dressing is up to you. Sometimes I let people put the dressing on themselves. Not everyone likes a lot of salad dressing.
This recipe can be made healthier, by simply using whole grain pasta, turkey pepperoni, low fat smoked sausage and a low fat dressing. If you decide to use an Italian dressing, I use an oil-and-vinegar based dressing, not creamy Italian.
