My family calls this “heaven in a dish.” It’s one of our comfort food favorites!
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Mix together cream soups, milk, and rice. Pour into a greased 9×13 pan, spreading evenly. Carefully lay raw chicken over the rice. Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix on top. Cover with foil and bake for 2 hours. NO PEEKING!
(I have made this with boneless chicken, but I add the chicken about an hour into the cooking time, otherwise it turns out quite dry.)
Brown minute rice works just as well as white rice.
