Tasty and easy, but the cooking time is far too long. I’ve tried it twice (for 6 hours and 8 hours) and it turned out very dry both times. 4 hours on high should be plenty.

So easy! I also rubbed the chicken with garlic cloves and stuffed them inside before applying the rub. So moist! Disappeared quickly.

Excellent recipe! It tastes exactly like rotisserie chicken, super juicy as well.

Fantastic! So easy and just like what I get at the store. It took 6 hours in my crockpot. I then took it out, placed it on a platter and covered it with foil to cool to a temperature where I could handle it to pick it apart. I’m going to use the chicken for a casserole recipe later in the week. Knowing that I have this option now, I don’t think I will ever have to buy another from the store again!

I wrap small baking potatoes in two layers of foil and rest the chicken on that. Instant side dish!

This sounds ideal for making so many other dishes! I often stop at the store for a rotisserie chicken to throw together a casserole when I get home. To think the chicken would be ready for me at a fraction of the cost!! Be still my heart!
