Mushroom Roast Beef Sandwich

Description
I was making a roast beef sandwich one night and decided to church it up a bit. A simple recipe that tastes fantastic.
Ingredients
- Crusty Bread, French Loaf Or Sour Dough Is Great
- 1/4 Sliced Purple Onion
- 1/2 To 1 Cup Sliced Portobello Mushrooms
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Slice Cheddar Cheese, Or Any Kind You Want Really
- Roast Beef, Deli Or Leftover Pot Roast
- Spicy Mustard
Preparation
Turn oven to broil setting.
Slice bread the size you want for your sandwich and cut in half.
Cook onion and mushrooms in Worcestershire sauce until tender, about 5-10 minutes.
While mushrooms and onion are cooking, place cheese on the bread and put in oven to toast. Check it every couple minutes so it doesn’t burn (I’m notorious for forgetting my bread in the oven).
Remove bread from oven once it’s reached desired toasty goodness. Place sauteed onions and mushrooms on cheese and layer your roast beef. Spread spicy mustard on bread and enjoy!
