This is an incredibly easy, hugely popular recipe. Plan for about 1/2 lb per person (once it’s cooked and the fat is removed, it will be less).
Rinse pork and pat dry. Place in crock pot.
Pour about 1/3 bottle of liquid smoke and 1/2 bottle BBQ sauce over pork.
Cook on low for about 8 hours, or until meat thermometer reaches 160-170. The pork should be falling apart. If not, cook it a little longer.
I usually let the meat cool slightly. Then I use gloves and pull the meat apart with my hands, making sure to remove the extra fatty parts.
Serve with extra BBQ sauce.
Pour some of the extra liquid over the leftovers and store in the fridge or freezer.
