Description
A salad with Ramen Noodles? Insanity! It’s delicious insanity though! I got this recipe from my mom, who got it from a friend and it is a hit everywhere we go.
Ingredients
- 2 packages Oriental Ramen Noodles, Coarsely Chopped
- ¾ sticks Butter Or Margarine
- ¼ cups Sesame Seeds
- ¼ cups Almonds, Sliced
- ¼ cups Onion, Minced
- 1 head Large Nappa Cabbage Or Lettuce, Chopped
Preparation
Saute noodles, seasoning mix, butter, sesame seeds, sliced almonds and onion until it is golden brown and appears toasted. Cool.
Mix with Cabbage.
Mix dressing (recipe follows) and pour on salad mixture right before serving.
Dressing:
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup white vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
