Description

These cheesesteaks are out of this world! The beef is cooked in the slow cooker so it is extra flavorful and tender….and did I mention delicious! Click on the ‘Related Link’ for more details.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds London Broil (or Flank Steak)
  • 1 whole Green Bell Pepper, Sliced
  • ½ whole Yellow Onion, Sliced
  • 1 whole Beef Bouillon Cube
  • ¼ cups Warm Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 4 whole Crusty Sub Rolls
  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

1. Slice up the beef and season with salt and pepper.
2. Place the sliced peppers, and onion in the bottom of the slow cooker. Then add the sliced beef on top.
3. Then dissolve the bouillon cube in the warm water and pour on top of beef. Finally add the Worcestershire sauce on top of the beef and cook on high for 4 hours.
4. Once beef is tender serve on sub rolls. Then add a slice of provolone cheese on top of each sub and either microwave for 30 seconds to melt the cheese or put under the broiler for a few minutes.

These were amazing! Next time I’ll try the horseradish cream on the side.

These were yummy! I may have cut my meat too thin, but they cooked much quicker than 4 hours. I would say probably about 1 1/2-2 hours…

Easy and tasty. I used 1.5 lbs of flank steak and an 8 oz package of mushrooms in addition to the green bell pepper and onions and threw in a couple tablespoons of soy sauce (somehow, my boyfriend thought it had too much teriyaki. I don’t understand). I managed to jam it all in my little 2.5 quart slow cooker–it was a tight fit and cooked for 8 hours on low.
