Description

Flavorful oven-baked meatballs for do-ahead meals and freezing. Add them to your favorite dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Lean Ground Beef -85% Lean
  • 1 pound Pork Sausage
  • ½ whole White Onion, Chop Fine Or Grate
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced Or Grate On Microplane
  • ½ cups Bread Crumbs
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning
  • ½ teaspoons Fresh Cracked Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Mustard
  • ¼ cups Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation

Mix everything well with your hands. Portion in 2-tablespoon (or 1/8 cup) scoops (Pampered Chef small scoop), roll into balls and place on foil-lined baking sheet. Bake at 350ºF for about 30 minutes, until cooked through.

Use in your favorite dish or cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. May be frozen as well.

Makes about 50-55 meatballs.

I love meatballs, but I always fried them, and so made them rarely since I really dislike that process. Once I learned to bake a meatball, I’ve never looked back. Meatballs are a lot more welcome around our kitchen now. I’m so happy you mentioned baking them and FREEZING them for later use! I don’t particularly like store bought frozen meatballs, so this is a wonderful idea. Thanks so much!

This was pretty good – used 4 slices of white bread soaked in 1/2 cup milk instead of breadcrumbs, and steak seasoning instead of italian

Love them! Usually I decide to go back to buying meatballs after all the effort but these are for sure getting made again!
