Description

Carved diagonally across the grain into thin slices, this flank steak is tender and delicious. The marinade may also be used for meat, fish, or poultry.

Ingredients

  • 2-½ pounds Flank Steak
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • ½ cups Vinegar
  • 1 cup Canola Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Dry Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 dash Cayenne
  • 2 drops Tabasco To Taste

Preparation

Marinate the flank steak in a marinade made with the remaining ingredients for at least three hours.

Broil or grill steak for three to four minutes on each side. Carve diagonally across the grain into thin slices. (You may refrigerate and reuse the marinade for meat, fish or poultry. I like to bring it to a boil before reusing. Note: it may NOT be reused after using with poultry.)
