Description

I made this up the other night: tasty tender and satisfying, using tenderized cube steaks and making a burger out of them. Oh my, oh so yummy! And yes, the picture shows a bite missing. I couldnt wait to try it!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Crushed Garlic, Divided
  • 4 pieces Bun Size Tenderized Cube Steaks
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 8 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons Dill Pickle Relish
  • 4 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
  • 4 pieces Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns
  • 4 pieces Leaf Lettuce Or Several Smaller, I Used Mine Growing In The Yard Right Now

Preparation

Put 1/2 tablespoon crushed garlic on one side of each steak and spread evenly. Season each side with the garlic salt and pepper. Let stand 10 minutes. In a small bowl, combine mayo, mustard, remaining crushed garlic and relish; stir to mix well. Set aside.

You can cook each steak however you like. I used my George but you could fry, BBQ, or broil them. Cook to your liking. Top each with a slice of Jack cheese.

Toast each bun, top each side with a teaspoon of the mayo sauce and a lettuce leaf. Then put the burger on top. Enjoy! I made homemade garlic fries to go with these—awesome!
