  • 2 pounds Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 4 Tablespoons Chopped Dill Pickles
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups Frozen French Fries
  • Lawry's Seasoned Salt, To Taste
  • Lettuce And Tomato For Garnish

Preparation

1. Heat oven to 450F. In a 12-inch skillet, cook beef and onion with salt and pepper to taste. Drain well! Sprinkle flour over beef mixture, cook one minute stirring constantly. Stir in ketchup, pickles, and cook 2 – 3 minutes.

2. In an ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole, spread hamburger mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Arrange frozen French fries in a single layer on top and sprinkle with Lawry’s seasoned salt to taste.

3. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until fries are golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

4. Serve with shredded lettuce, diced fresh tomatoes and ketchup and mustard to taste.
