This is a great Snickerdoodle recipe. I have been looking for one that doesn’t require the use of Crisco. These cookies have great flavor and are soft…YUM!!!

Wow! These cookies were a hit in our house! I just made them last night and my husband smelt them baking and said, “It smells like Christmas”. My Husband and Son both enjoyed them very much. The recipe was very easy. The only time consuming part was rolling them because the dough balls would stick to your fingers so it took me a little longer to make them. Overall they are the best! I have the recipe stowed away with all my other recipes. Thanks for sharing this recipe and I hope that others will try making them too

Just made these tonight on a whim! My husband said (and I quote), “Mmmm, babe, these are DELICIOUS!!”. So kudos to you via me.
Thanks!
ps: I slightly undercooked them (6 minutes) so that when they cool, they insides are nice and chewy/gooey. Sooo good!

These are cooling on my counter as I write this. They are the perfect snickerdoodle – a slight crunch as you bite, but chewy. Thanks for sharing this. I baked them for 8 minutes, they were still a bit too underdone for me at 7 minutes.

Just made these and I was out of cream of tartar. I just used 2tspn of baking powder and no baking soda and they turned out yummy!
