Description

These cookies are perfect, the outside is lightly crunchy and the center is soft and chocolatey .

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Softened Butter
  • ¾ cups Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 2-¼ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1-¼ cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In a standing mixer, cream together softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg, mix until well blended. Slowly add flour, salt and baking soda, mix until well blended. Blend in chocolate chips.

Line cookie sheets with parchment paper. With a cookie scoop (preferably medium, you want the balls to be 1-tablespoon size), scoop cookie dough onto the cookie sheet 2” apart. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and place cookies on a cooling rack.

Yields about 40 cookies.

Best chocolate chip cookie recipe ever! I don’t even bother testing other chocolate chip cookie recipes anymore since my family loves these. My only substitution is 3/4 cup chopped walnuts for the 1 cup milk chocolate chips.

These turn out perfect every time I bake them. I keep going back to this recipe each time I want to make Chocolate Chip Cookies. Do not overcook.
