Description

Egg-free, oil-free, butter-free. Edible raw!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1-¼ cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • ¼ cups No-sugar-added Applesauce
  • ⅓ cups Light Maple Syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cups Butterscotch Chips

Preparation

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk the flour, oats, cinnamon and salt; set aside.

Cream the peanut butter, applesauce, maple syrup, honey and vanilla in a large bowl until well-combined.

Add the flour and oats mixture and stir until combined. Add butterscotch chips and stir well.

Not good, not worth the time or ingredients to make. They just taste like peanut butter with a funky after taste from the cinnamon. Will probably just toss them, they are that bad.

We really enjoyed these. Simple to make, and reasonably healthy ingredients made them a perfect treat for my toddler. They also kept well in the fridge in a sealed container for more than a week.

these taste yummy but im not sure if i like the maple syrup flavor with the peanutbutter and butterscotch. i make my own syrup too so maybe that made a difference. i will make them again and just leave the syrup out.
