Description

A soft and chewy chocolate cookie enriched with Nutella and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • ¼ cups Unsweetened Dutch Processed Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups Sugar
  • ½ cups Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter, Melted And Cooled
  • 1  Large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.

In a medium-sized bowl, cream together the sugars, Nutella, and melted butter until combined. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until combined. Add the Nutella mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until the dough comes together. Fold in the chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Remove the dough and preheat the oven to 350ºF. Using small ice cream scoop or a heaping tablespoon, place the cookie dough on prepared cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Slightly flatten the balls of dough with your palm.

Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or until the edges are set but the middles are still under-baked. Cool cookies on the baking sheet for 3 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!

Good flavor, however, the cookie turned crispy when it cooled. Right out of the oven, you can’t beat the taste, but as I said previously, the cookie became crispy-not soft and chewy.
