Sweet and chewy, these cookies are simple, easy to make, and delicious.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Beat together the butter, brown sugar, honey and egg in a medium bowl until smooth, scraping the sides occasionally. Stir in all remaining ingredients.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased or lined baking sheet. Bake for about 7 to 10 minutes, or until the cookies are set and the edges are beginning to brown. The cookies will still look shiny when they’re done. Allow them to cool and then enjoy slowly; the real world can wait.

Help! I made these last night and the taste is OUTSTANDING. But, while they were in the oven, they spread out so much that they turned into one giant sheet of cookie! I cut them into squares to get them out of the pan and my husband walked in and said ‘what is that? slices of bread?’ I want to make them again because they truly taste wonderful, but I need to know what I did wrong! I followed the recipe exactly as written. Any suggestions?

hope someone can answer this..how to store these? I’m going to make an enormous batch tomorrow for the day after, and I just had a previous batch of cookies go horribly soft on me, so I want to be safe here..

We LOVE these!!! I went to a Christmas-cookie-bake-athon, and was searching for new recipes that don’t include chocolate (my daughter is allergic!! tragedy!!), and we found these and thought we’d try them out. They have been SUCH a hit!!! I’m going to be making more in the next couple of days – thanks for sharing!!

I made these last night and they are great. My fist batch in the oven, I did cook them a tad too long, but after that I see what you mean that they will look shiny when there done. What a nice surprise for the cookie exchange next week!
