The perfect sugar cookie! The almond extract adds a special ‘something’. Family loved them!

These were a big hit with a bunch of young Girl Scouts on their camping weekend. I made them as whoopie pies as in the original recipe (if you go back a couple links) and the girls loved them. I think I’ll make them for Memorial Day weekend with some red, white and blue sprinkles!

My new cookie obsession; they are super easy to make, extremely colorful and so addictive I can’t stop eating them – which is a problem, since I baked them for my grandkids. Oopsie!

I will have no idea if these better a few days later. I am having a really hard time not eating these all by myself. They are perfection– chewy inside, crispy on the edges, and I love the different colors. They taste just like the Funfetti cakes I used to bake for my son, when he was little.

Thank you SO much for sharing this. I just baked them, and I have to say that everything about this cookie recipe is perfect. They bake perfectly round, they are slightly chewy on the inside, crispy on the edges. The balance of almond extract is perfect, and they look so festive! I’ll set a few aside to fill as ice cream sandwiches, with a homemade ice cream flavor that I just made. I could eat a whole plate of these, myself.

Can’t wait to try these! Funfetti is my favorite, I’m sure the cookies are delicious too!

I baked these this week and they’re very tasty and colourful! I did add a few drops of milk to the dough to make it stick together better for me.

“Store in an airtight container up to 4 days.”
These won’t last that long!
