Description

Funfetti cookies are crispy and buttery. Plus, who can say no to sprinkles?

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Cream Of Tartar
  • ½ cups Rainbow Sprinkles

Preparation

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream butter on medium speed until softened. Add sugar and combine on medium speed. Add egg and vanilla, scraping the edges to make sure everything is mixed evenly.

In a separate bowl, whisk flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, and cream of tartar. With the mixer on low, gradually add flour mixture until fully combined. Remove bowl from mixer stand and mix in sprinkles with a large spoon. Place dough in the fridge to chill for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prep two large baking sheets. Remove dough from fridge, scoop dough into balls, and place on baking sheets. Bake for 12–13 minutes or until lightly browned and slightly crispy.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes and then cool completely on a wire rack.
