Delicious, easy… perfect texture. I made them with 2/3 cup of dark chocolate chips and 1/3 cup of butterscotch chips–they’re my new go-to cookie!

Absolutely delicious… reminiscent of the chocolate chunk oatmeal cookies I buy from the bakery at Whole Foods. I bet if I used a better chocolate, I’d get even better results. Perfect texture, chewy and moist. Just the right sweetness. I made 1/2 batch milk chocolate chip and 1/2 butterscotch. Yum!

Delicious! And easy. This recipe is exactly what I was looking for and is going to have a permanent place in my recipe box. They stay moist, have a great texture (not to oaty), and a great balance between sweet, cinnamon, and chocolate. Thanks monstermama!

Delicious. I don’t normally use cinnamon in cookies with chocolate chips, but it was a delicious addition.

These were super yummy & chewy. My family is not big on oatmeal so I ground it up into an almost flour like consistency before adding it in. They loved them! They were even great after being frozen and baked right from the freezer. I’m thinking I might try adding some M&M’s to these to make a “monster” version next time. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

I thought these were the best oatmeal cookies I’ve had so far, and I’ve tried LOTS of recipes! I loved the texture–just the right chewy to crisp ratio, and the balance of flavors was perfect! I like my cookies not too flat, and not too floury, so thanks SO MUCH for the awesome recipe!

I made these yesterday and they are to die for!! Best choc chip oatmeal cookie recipe I’ve ever tried. I just used the choc chips, I’m not a butterscotch girl. The dough is just perfect, and the flavor is wonderful. These are a must try! This is my first recipe I’ve tried from Tasty Kitchen and it was a winner! Thanks PW!!

Monstermoma, your recipe is ghoulishly delicious. As the last batch cools, my husband smiles broadly as he tells me how great they taste. We thank you!

Just got done making these and they are fantastic. I got about 50 cookies out of this recipe. The cinnamon is a fantastic addition that you can really taste in there. I also like that there is only 1 cup of chocolate chips in the recipe. They are nice and chewy and chocoately but not overly so. Excellent recipe! I highly recommend it!

This recipe is heaven sent! The cinnamon adds such an amazing component to these cookies. They are chewy, crunchy, sweet, and perfect!
I made about 48 cookies with this recipe!!
I did not use the butterscotch chips however, just stuck to semisweet chocolate chips, and the results were overwhelmingly spectacular!
This is my new favorite cookie recipe!

I just pulled these out of the oven and they are SO GOOD! Thank you! Very simple recipe for how good they taste. I rolled mine into 1-1/2 inch balls and they baked into about 42 perfect little cookies! They looked AND tasted like they were from a bakery. My monsters approved.

You are an evil, evil woman…
So easy to make my toddler did most of the work and even my non-oat-eating-hubby is eating tons of them.
I used rolled oats instead of quick – gave them a really nice texture. Mmmmm…

These are seriously addicting. I had to make a double batch to make sure there would be enough for everyone. You have to make these cookies!
