A rich stew that’s my new favorite for the autumn days. The seasoning is a bit different, but everything is alright. I promise. Crizz.

Remember that leftover turkey you stashed in the freezer? You need to defrost it, because we are going to make some gumbo.

Thick and hearty. Great soup for a wintery day. The great thing about this soup is that I learned how to make it from my mother and the measurements are an approximation. It thickens up when cooking or chilled so feel free to add more water to desired consistency.

A warm, inviting and hearty stew of beef, potatoes and all the usual aromatics. Just bake up some crusty French bread and open a bottle of your favorite red wine (for those of us 21 and up of course!).

This special stew gives a great hearty dish with a little spicy taste that makes it anything but ordinary.
