My sister-in-law gave me this recipe years ago and it works great for decorating sugar cookies any time of year. The icing hardens, so the cookies may be stacked.

This recipe was tweaked when I couldn’t find what I needed to make it. It is heavenly by itself, but definitely kicked up a notch with the vanilla sauce.

These are so sweet and good, I have been making them for years to put on my Christmas trays. I do not like coatings that use an egg white to make them stick. This coating will not flake off like that does!

I had always been afraid to try this because the recipe looks a little intimidating, but it’s remarkably easy and SO delicious!

I always make this every year for Easter, and the pan always returns home empty.

If the old Dutch ladies at church were ever on the internet, I might get in trouble for sharing this recipe. Banket is a great Christmas gift! I could eat the filling out of the bowl. Tradition in our church involves an assembly line of people making large batches. Banket is definitely the Dutch secret that should be shared! It is amazing!

These are a popular Canadian treat that are absolutely delicious. They are sweet and rich and oh so decadent. Even non-coconut lovers have been known to dive in for seconds.
However, they are often made with crushed almonds or walnuts, so my sister and I developed a nut-free version. Creamy and chocolately and coconutty. Enjoy!

Gorgeous chocolatey Swiss roll: a simple stirred baked sponge, dressed with rich gooey chocolate ganache and filled with chocolate butter. Delicious!
