It is springtime and strawberry time is upon us. I had a great run this early morning and came in and took a look at the strawberries in the freezer and knew I needed to use them. I needed something blended and fairly sweet and creamy to quench my thirst. This did the trick
An elegant blend of salty and sweet, a subtle honey ice cream paired with salted, roasted almonds. It’s possible that this is edible perfection and a very appropriate dessert for that first blush of spring. And, all you need to make this stuff is a hand mixer. No ice cream maker required.
What separates this faux ice cream from being a smoothie is its thickness. So, if you like the idea of strawberry, banana and peanut butter, just add more milk or yogurt and you’ll have yourself a yummy smoothie.

Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
