I had the pleasure of assisting a chef who taught a great steak cooking class. This steak sauce is one of the recipes he shared with the class and he kindly gave me permission to share it with all of you. Note: this sauce can also be used as a 10-minute marinade.

My permanent roommate and I love to eat sushi, and one night he decided to deconstruct the spicy mayo that they use on some rolls. This is pretty darned close to what’s used with sushi and at certain Japanese steakhouses.

This is a super easy pasta sauce recipe that I put together. The tang of the yogurt makes it incredibly delicious. The serving size can be easily adjusted depending on how much sauce you’d like on your pasta.

There are times when we barbecue dudes need a whole lotta good rub that’s fresh, good and inexpensive. This is a great all-purpose rub that is very economical. All of the ingredients can be found in the bulk foods section of any good supermarket.
The recipe makes 14 pounds of rub, and it cost me just under $20, minus the cost of the food-safe bucket and lid.

When we were first married, my husband and I spent a lot of time in the kitchen creating new recipes. This is one of the few ones that actually tasted good! It is a great sauce for any kind of meat. I usually make a double batch and can the extra so it can be used on the spur of the moment. I hope y’all love it as much as I do! God bless!

Just-sweet-enough creamy white chocolate peanut butter!

This is a fabulous, tangy variation on barbecue sauce. It can be used on meats, vegetables, or as a dip with pita chips. It is my variation on a Southern Living recipe from 2005.

One of the most sinful things you’ll ever taste. Drizzle it, chilled, over your pecan pie (or any other pie) on Thanksgiving Day. Or do what I do: eat it with a spoon. Unbelievably delicious.

I’ve spent time trying Tennessee Hot Chicken, and Rhoda’s Hot Tamales in Arkansas, and that special Texas BBQ/hot sauce that is undeniably … Texan. But I have a confession to make. I have ended my longtime affair with sriracha. I have a new favorite, and it’s name is Whiskey Hot Sauce.

In her blog, she shares her photographs, random musings (serious and silly alike), and all kinds of scrumptious recipes---and not just evil variations of her favorite mac and cheese. Her enviable TK recipe box is a testament to that. Go see for yourself!
