This is my “go to” blueberry cake recipe. I’ve made it several times since it’s been posted and I’m never disappointed. It’s moist and flavorful. Bluberries were on sale this week and I made one this morning before it got too hot outside. So delicious!

absolutely delicious! esp still warm from the oven!
I used half spelt flour and half all purpose flour in the cake. I used whole wheat flour for the topping because I think the wheat makes it taste nuttier.
yummy!

Delicious! We had it slightly warm, and it was really nice and moist. I especially like the crumb topping.

This is the best recipe for coffee cake! I brought this to a party to share with friends and it was quickly devoured. So moist and delicious, its sure to be a crowd pleaser. I added chopped pecans to the topping to give a little crunch and extra flavor.

My girlies and I made this for breakfast using blackberries and it was delicious! I’ve made coffee cake with sour cream but never with cream cheese – very good!

This was so awesome! I made it for a women’s brunch and everyone loved it. I plan on turning it into muffins and maybe shrinking the amount of struesel. I’m thinking it will make a great go-to breakfast any day of the week!

Very good recipe. Excellent texture, and the cream cheese gives a subtle tang. I’ll make this again. I made two changes to the recipe: I added the zest of a lemon, and I doubled the streusel.

I knew as I was mixing this together this morning that it was going to taste great! My children and I weren’t dissappointed! Fantastically light flavor, and who could do anything but fight over who has more of that topping?!!
Here was my mistake. Because most coffee cakes turn out too flat for my taste, I put this is a 9 x 11 pan. Oh.. .no…. over spill! It would have been perfect had I just followed the directions and trusted!
Wonderful recipe! Thank you for allowing me to add this to my arsenal of family breakfast meals. :O)

I’ve never seen cream cheese listed in a recipe as fluid cream cheese. Can anyone tell me the difference between fluid cream cheese and cream cheese?
terri on 3.7.2013
Michelle, It is just regular cream cheese. I don’t know why the computer changed it when I added the recipe.
