Omelettes prepared in the waffle iron are so light and fluffy. They are easy to customize with your favorite fillings and ready in minutes! A healthy and delicious start to your day.
Whisk eggs, cheese and your filling ingredients together in a bowl until well blended
Coat top and bottom of your waffle iron with vegetable spray and preheat (I kept mine on the “minimum” setting which left the eggs light and fluffy). Add the egg mixture and close lid. Check on eggs each minute until cooked and your desired texture has been reached. Mine took just a few minutes. Shut off heat and carefully remove it from the waffle iron with tongs or a fork. Serve and prepare to be amazed.
Filling suggestions: diced onions, peppers, pepperoni, black olives, cooked sausage, tomatoes, crumbled bacon, pulled pork or whatever sounds good.
