Turnips paired with sweet potatoes and yams are a healthy meal for babies.
In a pot, add all the vegetables, cinnamon powder and water. Cook until vegetables get tender, roughly 10 to 15 minutes. Once done, remove from heat and give them a mash or run through the food processor. Serve.
Notes:
1. This can be made in a steamer as well.
2. The quantity of turnips should be less than sweet potatoes and yams since they have a strong flavor.
3. The vegetable cubes used here (sweet potatoes, yam and turnip) are roughly 1/2 inch in size.
