This Easy Sautéed Fresh Green Beans Recipe with Crispy Prosciutto comes together in a snap! It’s only 4 ingredients, keto and paleo-friendly!
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter. When the froth beings to subside, add prosciutto and shallots. Cook until prosciutto is crispy, about 3 minutes. Remove prosciutto and shallots from pan.
Add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt. Add green beans and saute until tender and just a little browned, 4 to 5 minutes.
Add the prosciutto and shallots back to the pan and toss to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Note: You can easily make this recipe paleo and dairy-free by replacing the butter with coconut oil or avocado oil. Avocado oil is more neutral in flavor, which will allow the prosciutto and shallots to shine through.
