This gluten-free, dairy-free five-minute blackberry sauce recipe contains just four ingredients: fresh blackberries, lemon juice, agave nectar, and water. Agave nectar balances the tart blackberries and sour lemon. Perfect as a fruit topping or mix-in, fresh blackberry sauce goes with just about anything you can think of!
Blend blackberries and water until mixed together. Add lemon juice and agave nectar and blend until smooth (or desired consistency is reached).
Serve by itself or as a topping or mix-in. Refrigerate unused sauce for up to 3 days.
