A creamy soup full of kale, potatoes and Italian sausage. It is sure to become a family favorite.
Saute Italian sausage and crushed red pepper in a large pot until sausage is cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add bacon, onions and garlic and cook over medium low heat until onions are soft, about 15 minutes. Add chicken stock and heat to a boil and then lower heat to a simmer. Add potatoes and cook until soft, about 1/2 hour.
Add cream, turn off heat, stir in the sausage and kale and heat through. Serve.
