Description

Chicken, veggies and wild rice.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Water
  • ½ cups Long Grain Or Wild Rice, Or A Mixture
  • 1 Tablespoon Chicken Bouillon Granules
  • 2 stalks Celery, Chopped
  • 2 whole Carrots, Peeled And Chopped
  • ¼ whole Medium Onion, Chopped
  • 1 can (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 1 cup Cubed Cooked Chicken

Preparation

In a large saucepan, combine the water, rice and bouillon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in the celery, carrot and onion. Cover and simmer 10 more minutes. Stir in the chicken soup and chicken. Cook 10 minutes longer until vegetables and rice are tender.

this was so easy and yummy. I used leftover Thanksgiving turkey; even added 1/2 cup leftover gravy—it was all good.
