This easy cheeseburger soup recipe comes together so quickly you can make it and eat it in less than half an hour.
Brown the ground beef in a soup pot over medium heat. Drain grease if necessary. Add garlic and carrots. Cook 2-4 minutes. Add onion, celery, salt, pepper, basil, and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until vegetables are softened. Add butter then slowly stir in the flour, so it doesn’t clump. Add milk and cheese. Cook until milk is heated and cheese is melted. Serve.
