Copycat P.F. Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps—just like the restaurant favorite and ready in 20 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Chicken Breast
  • 1 whole Yellow Onion, Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Fresh Ginger
  • ¼ cups Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons Sriracha
  • 1 can (8 Oz. Size) Sliced Water Chestnuts, Drained And Finely Chopped
  • 1 bunch Green Onion, Sliced
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
  • ½ teaspoons Salt, Or To Taste
  • 12 leaves Butter Or Iceburg Lettuce, Rinsed And Drained
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Cilantro, For Garnish (optional)

Preparation

1. Heat the vegetable oil in a saute pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5 minutes, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks.

2. Pour in the onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and the Sriracha. Toss the mixture to coat all of the chicken. Continue cooking until the chicken is thoroughly cooked (about 1-2 minutes).

3. Stir in the water chestnuts and the green onions. Pour in the sesame oil, and add salt to taste.

4. Transfer the chicken to a bowl or a large plate. Scoop the chicken mixture onto the lettuce leaves. Garnish with cilantro if desired and serve!

I’ve made this twice now- the second time it only took 15min from start to eating! We definitely will add this to our dinner rotation-super easy and delicious!! It’s a great recipe!!

I’ve made these twice now and my family loves it! The second time I made it, I added some bell pepper to get a little veggies in there. I served it over rice for my kids, which cuts the heat a little and fills them up more.

I LOVE this recipe! I have never had P.F. Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps, but I always order the ones at California Pizza Kitchen. This recipe is just as good, if not better. It is very easy – the most difficult part is chopping the ingredients. I only added half of the sriracha sauce and it was hot enough for me (I’m a wimp, though). And, I did not add any extra salt as is called for at the end. Don’t go overboard on the Hoisin sauce as it easily could make it too sweet if you aren’t careful. The only thing I think I will do differently next time is chop the water chestnuts in bigger chunks for texture. I might also add cashews. I served this with turkey/garlic/mushroom burger sliders, and homemade pina coladas, and it was a great meal for girls night out! Thanks, Stephanie!

This was delicious! We all loved the flavorful chicken mixture. I used iceberg lettuce which wasn’t very sturdy and made it hard to eat as a wrap. However, I will definitely make this again and try the butter lettuce or maybe romaine.
