Description

Meatloaf baked with a sweet, tangy sauce at the bottom. Flip it over and serve!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Ketchup
  • ¼ cups BBQ Sauce
  • ½ pounds Ground Turkey
  • ½ pounds Ground Beef
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • ¾ cups Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ cups Oats

Preparation

Spray a 9″ x 3″ x 5″ loaf pan well with cooking spray. Press the brown sugar in the bottom of the pan. Mix ketchup and BBQ sauce together and spread over the brown sugar.

Mix all the remaining ingredients together and shape into a loaf. Place on top of the ketchup/BBQ sauce mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Turn upside down to serve.

Was a little sweeter than I would have liked, but still very tasty. Didn’t have Chili spices so used Old Bay to give it a kick. Will definitely make it again.

This was delicious! I’m not even a meatloaf fan and I loved it. My husband ate three pieces at one sitting! Definitely will make again.

I love this! The only thing I did differently was to lay three slices of thick bacon across the top before I put it in the oven. It was moist and delicious!
