Crumbled blue cheese, grated onion, and minced cilantro are added directly to ground beef, making for an extra-juicy burger with a hint of blue-cheese flavor.
Place all the ingredients together in a bowl and mix well to combine. Shape into 5 rather large and thick burgers, making a tiny indentation in the center of each burger. Place onto an oiled, preheated grill (if using hardwood charcoal, wait for the coals to be covered with a layer of white ash), and grill on both sides until well-browned on the outside but still somewhat pink in the center. Serve inside a toasted bun with a slice of onion, tomato, and lettuce, and a side of oven fries or potatoes of your choice.
