Taco Seasoning
Description
Those packets are way more expensive than making your own, and I always have these seasonings in my house. Makes enough for 1 pound of ground beef (or soy crumbles).
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1-½ teaspoon Paprika Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoons Oregano Flakes
- ½ teaspoons Ground Cumin
- 2 dashes Black Pepper
- 2 dashes Cayenne Pepper
- 2 dashes Ground Coriander (optional)
Preparation
Those packets are way more expensive than making your own, and I always have these seasonings in my house. Makes enough for 1 pound of ground beef (or soy crumbles).
Just mix the ingredients together in a small bowl. Add them to the cooked meat or soy crumbles along with enough water to bring it to the desired strength/consistency. I usually start with about a cup and add more if I need it. Cook on low heat while stirring until sauce thickens.
