My favorite cut of steak sliced thin on toasted bread. It’s a perfect summer time meal.
On a hot grill, cook steaks about 6 to 8 minutes per side for medium or 10-12 minutes for done. Steak can also be broiled or fried in a skillet for the same approximate times. When done, remove from the grill and allow steaks to rest at least five minutes before thinly slicing them.
Meanwhile, add 1 tablespoon of butter to a skillet and saute peppers over medium heat, just until they start to soften.
Spread one side of each slice of bread with garlic butter and lightly toast it under the broiler or in a toaster oven.
Layer sliced steak and a few peppers over the buttered side of half of the pieces of toast and drizzle with blue cheese dressing; then top with another slice of toast.
