This is a great way to use up ground beef! It’s more than just your traditional hamburger with a Salisbury Steak flare.
The soup in this recipe works as a great gravy, so fix the Pioneer Woman’s mashed potatoes to go with this! You’ll leave the table with a full stomach!
Mix 1/4 cup of soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, spices and onion. Shape into 6 firm patties.
Cook patties over medium/high heat until brown. Spoon off fat.
Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
For a little variation, try 1/2 pound of sausage!
