Description

Quick sweet and sour meatballs.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 whole Egg (You Can Leave It Out If You Don't Have It)
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk, Or More As Needed
  • ½ cups Italian Bread Crumbs
  • Grated Parmesan Or Romano Cheese
  • 1 can (20 Oz. Can) Pinapple Chunks
  • ⅓ cups Vinegar (rice Wine Or White)
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Diced Green Pepper (Optional)
  • 1 whole Large Carrot Julienned Or Grated (optional)

Preparation

Make quick meatballs with the ground beef, egg (optional), milk, bread crumbs, and cheese. Mix together and form into balls. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15-20 minutes, rolling them over halfway through cooking.

While they bake, begin to boil water for your pasta and
then start on the sauce.

Drain the pineapple chunks, reserving the juice. Set aside the pineapple and put the juice into a saucepan. Mix the cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil while stirring, then turn the heat down to medium (or it will burn). Add the diced green pepper and carrots, if using, then add the pineapple. Keep on low while you
prepare the pasta and finish baking the meatballs.
