This is a great recipe. We cooked it in the Crock Pot on low for 4 hours or so. Definitely serve over white rice. Yum!

I made this today, and it is amazing! So unbelievably tasty! I took your advice and served it with some rice, and it worked really well to soak up all that delicious sauce. Thanks for sharing!

The flavor of the ribs is wonderful and we enjoyed them so much. I appreciated how simple it was to put the dish together. And the guys loved how great the house smelled while they were cooking!
Our only issue was the thickness of the sauce; it was very runny. I’ll tinker with it a little to try and thicken it up for future servings. Other than that it was fantastic!

Correction: I simmered for 15 minutes as suggested not 4.5 min.

This recipe is terrific however, for the water I used Au jus, for the white vinegar I use raspberry infused red wine vinegar. I also browned my onions in the beef fat from the shortribs after browning them. And for the thickness inquiring above, I just added 11/2 teasp of corn starch prior to simmering everything 4.5 minutes.
