This is a great dish for a cold night. The prep time is short, but cooking time is long, so make sure you have time for it! It’s worth it.
Pre-heat the oven to 325.
Put all ingredients into a casserole dish with a lid and mix.
Pour the liquid all over everything and toss gently so that all the ingredients are coated in sauce.
Season with S&P and toss in the bay leaf.
Cover the dish in foil and then cover with the lid.
Cook 2.5 hours, until the meat falls apart. Serve with crusty bread for a hearty meal!
